The NIA Project Presents
Imagine a typical "Vision Board" workshop. Paper. Scissors. Glue. Decals. Gems. Stickers. Magazines. Boards. Etc. Sounds like fun, right? ABSOLUTELY!!!
The only concern with a vision board is its lack of mobility. You cannot put a vision board in your pocket or your purse. But, what if there was a way to put it in your palm? Now there is...
The Vision Stone workshop will allow participants to not just hold a vision in their mind but to also hold it in their hands.
Prior to diving into the artistic practice, each participant will be invited to simply sit, breathe, and be present with their thoughts. As visions begin to enter the mind, participants will be asked to write them in a journal and identify which ones can be achieved in one, three, or six months. The final step is to creatively represent that vision on a smooth stone in writing or drawing*
*No formal training necessary. A squiggly line counts as drawing.
