Click here for the stone presentation - https://youtu.be/VjhxsZHN1hU List of Lessons from Day 4Today represented EVERYTHING that I had hoped this trip would be. The spiritual part of the spiritual sojourn was magnified exponentially. While driving from New Mexico to Nevada, I made several stops. I didn’t stop because I was tired; I stopped because I was in complete awe! The natural sandstones, the desert conditions that still yielded green life, the patch of trees that reached for the sky and provided the landscape with heart chakra lovin’, etc. Dayyyyuuummmnnn, nature is amazingly divine. I’m not going to bore you with the list of lessons because when it happened, I INSTANTLY knew what my carrying message was going to be… Lesson from Day 4 - “Look out the window”![]() While driving, I was mesmerized by the natural rock that surrounded me. I wished that I could get close enough to touch one. Gotta love “wishes!!” No sooner than I said that, the Universe provided!! At a stop right outside of New Mexico, (about one minute outside) there was a drive that led to this massive beauty of natural wonder. Beneath her was a little trade strip. With this being a safe exit, I pulled off the Interstate and made my way over to her. I slowly entered her space…..{ohhhhhh, wait! This isn’t the lesson I wanted to share today. Haha. I’ll share this later.) The trade shop owner had an inviting space with a beautiful layout and delightful aromatherapy that greeted me at the door. When I walked in, she also greeted me. I love good customer service!! As I looked around the store and took my three items to the counter, we engaged in a brief conversation that would soon be the carrying message for the day. She asked where I was from. I shared. I then told her that I was on my way to pick up my Lil Mama in Nevada so we could head to California. I also told her about our international performance on the Golden Gate Bridge. She assumed we were singers. Hahaha. NOPE :) I told her that my art is social-presencing, eco-presencing, and storytelling. I explained the concept of social presencing and she proceed to share how her parents would take her on drives when she was younger. It was a beautiful memory for her and I could feel it. She then added that the kids these days are so distracted by their phones that something like that is boring to them. FACTS!! (I even talked about that in my TEDx Talk.) What she said next was everything…. She said, “Look out the Window!” Although she was speaking literally, I received that as both a literal and spiritual message. We are surrounded by natural beauty. If we take a moment to be present in these everyday spaces, we will see that we, too, are part of that landscape. So, as you go about your day, I respectfully invite YOU to look out the windows in your car, office, home, and heart. See and be the beauty. Ase!
